Angela demaree dvm, mph

Dr. Angela Demaree earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University's College of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine. She is also a certified high performance coach and host of the Beyond the Stethoscope™ Podcast.

Dr. Demaree enjoys coaching pet parents through medical concerns, helping them find the right treatment plan for their beloved pet that fits into their busy lives, and understanding how to travel safely with their pets, including finding the documentation required for travel between States and Countries. She is licensed in Indiana and Illinois.

Dr. Demaree recently retired as a Major in the United States Army Reserve and has enjoyed a diverse career path in companion animal and equine sports medicine practice, regulatory medicine, politics, and policy. She is always looking to improve the status quo and is a co-founder and CSO of a veterinary technology start-up focused on precision dosing of compounded medications.

She serves as President of the American Association of Food Safety and Public Health Veterinarians and the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine's Alumni Board. She is a member of the Indiana Animal Health Foundation Board and the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association's Innovation Task Force.

She spends her free time with her horse, Tommy, hiking, and turning nature into art with her photography.
